SUP 101 FUNdamentals     

1 hour class


This first time friendly lesson will start on land and teach you the basics of stand up paddle boarding, safety, stance and paddle techniques. Regardless of your experience or level of fitness, you will be standing up your very first session!   

Kayak 101 FUNdamentals     

1 hour class

Learn how to stop, turn, and easily maneuver your kayak for safer outings and building confidence.  

Get tips on optimal routes and safe strategies for paddling in chop, wind, and current.  

Learn how to remount your kayak in the case of a capsize.

This course will teach you the basics to enhance every paddling session. 


Our team of certified instructors provide quality Stand Up Paddle Education with emphasis on safety, technique, and fun! We offer Ottawa and the Valley a variety of specialty experiences including SUP 101, SUP Fitness and Yoga, SUP Racing, Whitewater SUP and Instructor Certification courses.  

We appreciate each individual's unique capabilities and strive to give each person the attention they deserve. We foster self-confidence, community spirit and an active, healthy lifestyle for our clients.

What'SUP Next

We offer Stand Up Paddle (SUP) lessons on flatwater and whitewater with our equipment, or you can BYOB (bring your own board). Check out our schedule for SUP fitness and yoga classes, kids programs and races on the Ottawa River. Take your paddling inside with us over the winter in Ottawa's Westend warm water SUP pool.

SUP Immersion

This program brings SUP 101, 2.0, SUP Safety, Race Ready and Yoga/Fitness together. Each week will focus on a new activity to develop Stand Up Paddleboarding skills.
